Twas brillig, and the slithy toves

The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,

The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!

He left it dead, and with its head

He went galumphing back.

注：《爱丽丝梦游仙境》中，恶龙Jabberwocky像恐龙一样高大，有着一副爬虫的翅膀，身上还覆盖着鳞片，它的爪子长而尖锐，长着两条分别向上向下的尾巴。在预言中的辉煌日，Jabberwocky被手持佛盘剑的爱丽丝斩杀。Jabberwocky也被音译作炸脖龙或伽卜沃奇。
《爱丽丝梦游仙境》的姊妹篇《爱丽丝穿镜奇幻记》第一章里收录了一首名为Jabberwocky的诗，也就是同名电影里红王后口口声声说的小宝贝------伽卜沃奇（译名不同）。
