Jingjing: So, what do you have planned for the day?
京晶：你今天有什么计划？
Mark: I think I'm gonna hit the stores.
马克：我想去商店。
Jingjing: Are you freaking out about your summer shopping? Chill, you still have several weeks left.
京晶：你是在担心你的夏日大采购吧？放心，你还有几个星期呢。
Mark: Well, actually, I need to buy loads of short sleeve shirts. It's not chilly any longer in Beijing.
马克：其实，我是打算买一批短袖衬衣，北京这天气已经不冷了。
Jingjing: So, you mean, you're not going to buy anyone gifts? I've done some shopping for people's birthdays and whatnot.
京晶：所以你的意思是，你就不买些礼物了？我已经开始给别人的生日等诸如此类的事采购礼物了。
Mark: Don't put words into my mouth. I'm a generous guy, when I see something I think someone's gonna like. But it's gonna be sweltering in a few weeks, and I need clothes.
马克：不要臆断哦，我可从来没有说过这样的话。我是个很大方的人，我看到一些东西觉得别人可能喜欢我就会买。再过几周可就酷热难当了，再说我也需要一些衣服。
Jingjing: Anyways, I'll see you after you come back from shopping. Let's get an icy drink next, okay?

Jingjing: So, how'd it go, Mark?
京晶：（采购进行得）怎么样了，马克？
Mark: It went really well. I found some good deals on shirts, and didn't buy too many. I had the tailor take some of my long-sleeve shirts and turn them into short-sleeve shirts.
马克：不错哦。买了一些还不错的衬衫，也没买太多。我让裁缝拿了些我的长袖衬衫把它们改成短袖的了。
Jingjing: Do they look okay?
京晶：那看着还行吗？
Mark: Yeah! It's a good way to extend the life of my clothes. I had a Kodak moment trying the stuff on, and posted the photos on WeChat.
马克：不错呢。这是一个延长衣服使用寿命的好方法。我都拍了穿着这些衣服的样子，还把照片发在朋友圈了呢。
Jingjing: You show-off! Well, you'll have something more to show off. I got you a present.
京晶：你这个炫耀狂！对了，你还有得吹，我这儿有一个小礼物给你。
Mark: Wow, I love presents, especially when it's not a holiday! Can I open it?
马克：哇，我喜欢收礼物，尤其不在节假日的时候，我可以打开吗？
Jingjing: Go for it.
京晶：当然。
Mark: You're so sweet! I always wanted a pair of earphones. Here, I almost forgot. I have a gift for you, too.
马克：你太好啦！我一直想买一副耳机的！我差点儿忘了，给你，我也给你买了礼物。
Jingjing: I thought you weren't going to buy anyone presents! You're a great guy after all.
京晶：我还以为你不会给任何人买礼物呢！（你原来还想着我哪）你真不错。
Mark: You know what? I bought it last week when I said I was gonna buy loads of summer shirts. I was actually buying this as well. Hope you like it, sis.
马克：你知道吗？我上周不是说我要买几件衬衫吗，其实那会儿我也顺便买了这个。希望你喜欢，姐们儿。
Jingjing: Ohh! A new watch. I love it. I'll wear it all summer!

Mark: You're wearing the watch I gave you.
马克：你戴着我给你买的那块表
Jingjing: Oh, yeah, that too. Check out my new shades.
京晶：哦，那个也戴了。瞧我的新太阳镜怎么样？
Mark: Hey, those are pretty cool sunglasses. Did you just get them?
马克：嘿，还真是挺酷的太阳镜呢。刚买的吗？
Jingjing: Naw, I found them. I did some spring cleaning and dug them out of a drawer. I thought I'd lost them.
京晶：不是，我找到的。我刚做了些春日扫除，在一个抽屉里发现了眼镜。我以为我弄丢了呢。
Mark: They look like they cost a pretty penny.
马克：看上去价格不菲呢。
Jingjing: Yup, they're not cheapies. All I had to do was get them fixed up a little.

Mark: They look good as new. Way to accessorize for the summer, sis!
