So, today we have come to Kamakura.
今天，我们来到了镰仓
And Kamakura is one hour away, well approximately one hour away from Tokyo.
镰仓距东京大约一小时的路程
So it's a great place to come for a day trip.
很适合一日游
But what's the best of this place is it has a lot of street food
最赞的是这儿有许多街头小吃
and that's what we're going to be trying today. So let's go.
我们今天就去尝尝这些街头小吃，走吧
For transportation, if you're going from Tokyo. Then taking the train will be your best option.
如果你从东京出发，最好坐火车来
And here are the two lines that will take you directly to Kamakura Station.
有两条线路直达镰仓（横须贺线&湘南新宿线）
Kamakura is often call the Kyoto of eastern Japan.
镰仓常被称为日本东部的京都
and it has many temples, shrines and beaches around the area which makes it a very popular tourist destination.
镰仓有很多寺庙、神社和海滩，是个旅游胜地
However, today we will be focusing on the street food.
但我们今天的重点是街头小吃
So when you first exit the station, you'll see the shrine gate that leads you to the main shopping street.
一出站台，你就会看见通往购物街的牌坊
For Komachi Street, here you'll find a lot of interesting shops, restaurants and delicious street food.
在小町街，你能找到许多有趣的商店、餐馆和街头美食
Now this shop caught my eyes, so I decide to go here first.
这家店吸引了我的注意力，我就先在这里尝一尝
So we're at our first shop and it sells croquette, which is basically fried mashed potato.
我们的第一站到了，这家店卖可乐饼，可乐饼是炸土豆泥做的
And this is a really popular place with the locals.
这家店很受当地人欢迎……
And it doesn't just have the normal like beef one
这儿不仅有普通的牛肉可乐饼
and it's got a lot of different other flavors like...
还有许多其他口味的，比如……
It's got chocolate, it's got black sesame, it's got sweet potato...plum
有巧克力的，黑芝麻的, 甘薯口味的...…梅子的
So I'm gonna be getting the chocolate one and the normal, the normal beef one.
我想要一个巧克力的和一个普通牛肉的
So let's go try that out.
我们赶紧去尝一尝
And let's try it to see what it tastes like cause that sounds pretty interesting. Chocolate and mashed potato.

It's really good. Because it's not as sweet as I thought it would be.

I thought it would be really sweet but it actually goes really well with the mashed potato.

Which is a weird combination right like chocolate and savory.

However, it actually tastes pretty good.

Ok, so let's try the next one, the beef flavour.

This is more obvious standard flavour with your fried mashed potato.
这个和你吃的普通炸土豆泥的味道差不多
Ok, the beef is probably more, more inside. Let me take a bigger bite.
牛肉可能在更里面些，让我咬一大口
It's so good. I think I definitely, I definitely like the savory one more.
很美味，我想，我绝对绝对更喜欢咸味的这个
However the chocolate one also goes really well.
但是巧克力味的真的也很好吃
It's a really interesting combination but this one, I like this one more.
是很有意思的组合，但这个，我更喜欢这个
Next, let's go to the shop that's popular for its Sushi Wrapped and Fried Tofu.
接下来，我们去一个卖寿司卷和炸豆腐的热门小店
So this is got 'Inari-zushi' but it's a little bit different from the normal ones
这个叫‘稻荷寿司’，跟普通的寿司有一些区别
where they just stuff rice inside the tofu skin.

This one it's got like...I think it's a carrot.
这个像是...…我猜是胡萝卜
I'm not quite sure what it is.(Burdock Root *not carrot)
我不确定这是什么（牛蒡根，不是胡萝卜）
The skin that she wrapped around, it's like a sushi roll. Let's try.
这个包起来的皮， 就像是寿司卷的皮，让我们来尝一下
The burdock root in the middle gave the Inari-zushi a crunchy and salty punch flavor which was really good.
稻荷寿司中间的牛蒡根脆脆的，结合了咸味，宾治酒的口感，很棒
It's really good to be recommendation.

So the next shop we're going to try is this rice crackers shop behind me.
下一站我们要去尝一下我身后的这家米饼店
And it sells a freshly made rice crackers.
这家店出售新鲜出炉的米饼
So they make it right in front of you which is a really cool scene.

So let's try it and see how fresh it taste.

You can smell it already. It smells really nice.

Just got the freshly made cracker, the rice cracker, and they make it right in front of you
买了个刚出炉的饼，米饼，师傅当面现做
and then they dip in the soy sauce and then put seaweed into it.
之后浸入酱油，再在里面加入海藻
So it's freshly made and it's really hot and it's really fresh.

So I already had half of it. Let me try it.

It's really crunchy. So it's much crunchier than the ones in the packages. Really good!

You can also buy the prepackaged ones for a very affordable price and take it home.
你也可以买包装好的带回家，价格也很实惠
This is the one I want to show you guys. This is the Takoyaki.
我想给你们介绍这个，这是章鱼烧
But it's a little bit different from the normal Takoyaki
但它和寻常的章鱼烧有些区别
So the normal Takoyaki only has octopus inside.
普通的章鱼烧里面只放章鱼肉
However this shop also put whitebait which is a type of small fish inside.
但这家店也会放银鱼，这是一种小鱼
Now whitebait is very famous around this area so you'll see in a lot of these shops menus.
在这里银鱼很有名, 许多章鱼烧店的菜单上都有银鱼
And it was my first time seeing this in Takoyaki, so I just had to get it.
这还是我第一次见在章鱼烧里面放银鱼，我一定要尝尝
Let's try one of these and see how it tastes.

This is my first time trying the 'Shirasu' in Takoyaki. And it's really hot so be careful if you eat rarely hot things like me.
这是我第一次吃银鱼章鱼烧, 如果你像我一样很少大口吃很烫的东西的话，小心点，这个很烫
It's not a good idea to eat it in one bite.
一口吞恐怕不合适
So...That's really good.

Now if you get thirsty while you're eating all the street food.

I recommend getting a drink from this juice bar. That sells really unique drinks.

I decided to go with the lemonade to cool we down in the end.

If you come at Kamakura, there's a lot of street food.
如果你要来镰仓，这里有很多街头小吃
You can either just try a lot of street food. and get full from there.

Or you can go to a restaurant, because there's a lot of restaurants seriously well.
你也可以去餐馆吃，镰仓也有许多很赞的餐馆
And yeah, but I preferred trying a lot of street food. and getting full from that.

It's just a little fun more in reality. And you can also see the street at the same time.

This is seriously so refreshing. It's my first time drinking from like one of these packages.
这真的很新鲜, 我第一次喝这种塑料袋里的饮料
So after eating all the savory foods, I think it was finally time to get some sweets.
吃完了各种风味小吃,终于可以来一些甜点了
And I came to this popular dango shop. There sells a lot of interesting flavours.
我到了这家人气很高的丸子店, 这家店有很多有趣的口味
What's the most popular flavour being the cherry blossom flavour.
最受欢迎的是樱花口味
It's very chewy but it's not too sweet. And the flowers have a little sour tasting.
丸子非常有嚼劲，不是特别甜。花有一点点酸酸的味道
So it was a mix between sour and sweet, this flavour.
这种味道介于酸和甜之间
So if you get a little bit full while you eating all the street food,

there's also a lot of things you can do around this area. So let me go show you that now.

Every street you turn has interesting shops

so try wandering off the main streets and check out what shops are around.

It's also good to come on a weekday, because this people and it's crowded.

Parallel to the main shopping street, there's a path that takes you down to one of the most famous shrines in Kamakura.

There's a few theistic climb before you get to the top.

But once check it to the top, you'll see the spectacular view.
一旦登顶，你可以看到非常棒的景色
There's also a pond inside the shrine, kind of lots and lots of lotus leaves.
神社里面有个池塘，有许多许多的荷叶
I found this one here where people were throwing money inside for maybe good luck or something.

So I decided to give it a go. You guys think I get it.

I don't like to give on the left. One...two...three! Oh god, I just miss it. Oh,well.

Another thing you can do is ride the electric railway and see some of the great uses it has to offer.

And I just love how ritual looking this train is.

So this train goes in between through the local areas and I felt like it was kind of a jubilee movie.

You can also get a view of the beaches and the sea in this area.
在镰仓也能看到海滩风景
So it's a really relaxing ride.
因此坐电车会很放松

It has a lot of shoppings streets, good cafes, restaurants and of course beaches.
