Hey guys, so you might be wondering why am I dress like this today,

and that's because I've come to a local area, and there's actually a summer festival happening here.

So I wanna show you guys what it's like in Japan to go to a summer festival, so come with me.

So, today we've come to a local neighborhood in Tokyo called Kagurazaka.
今天，我们来到了东京一个叫“神乐坂”的地方。
There are a lot of cool back alleys and hidden gems in this area, we're nearly there,
这里有很多阴凉的小巷和隐藏的珍宝,我们快到了,
but today, we're going to check out the biggest summer festival held in this area,the Kagurazaka summer festival.
但是，今天我们要看的是日本最大规模的夏日祭：神乐坂夏日祭。
To get here, just get off at Iidabashi station, and take the B3 exit, and there's the street right in front of you.
在饭田桥站下车就可以到这儿，从B3出口出来之后，前面的那条街就是。
So, there are many festivals held throughout the year in Japan,
日本一年到头有很多节日，
however, the summer festivals has got to be my most favorite.
但我最喜欢夏日祭。
So the most of them happen in July or August,
大多数夏日祭都在七月或者八月，
So if you're around Japan during that time, definitely go check it out.

The one I went to has a winter cherry market,
我来的这个夏日祭有一个酸浆花市，
and in Japan, the seeds are used as a part of the Bon festival as offerings to guide the souls of the dead.

Apart from that, there are many food stores for you to enjoy Japanese street food.
除此之外，这里也有很多小店，可以吃到日本的街头小吃。
I got this Mizu Manju which is a Japanese summertime confection.
我买了这个水馒头，这是一种夏日甜食。
It has jellylike appearance and red bean fillings.
看着像果冻，里面是红豆馅。
Look at this! It's water, Mizu, Mizu Manju.
看这个！这是水，水，水馒头。
Mizu Manju! This is my first time eating this. It's like jelly.
水馒头！我第一次吃，像果冻一样。
Red bean inside. Wow, it's really refreshing for summer.
里面有红豆，哇，夏天吃这个很清爽。
I just love how fun and lively the environment is,
我喜欢这里热闹有趣的氛围，
but just be awared: there may be a lot of people.

Next, we're gonna get the Japanese summer drink: Ramune.
接下来，我们去买弹珠汽水。
Ramune basically comes from the English word "Lemonade".
大致来说，弹珠汽水来自英语词汇“柠檬汽水”。
Now this may seem like an average bottle, however, there's a special way of opening this.
它看上去只是个普通的瓶子,但是，打开它的方式很特别。
There's a marble at the top to block the gas from coming out,
瓶子顶部有一个弹珠挡住，避免漏气，
so you have to push it down before you can drink it.
所以，喝之前必须把它弄进去。
It's a funny way to open something, and it's one of the modern symbols of summer in Japan，
这种开瓶的方式很好玩儿，也是日本现代夏日祭的标志。
and it's widely consumed during hot festival days and nights.
天气炎热的节日里，白天晚上都会有很多人买。
and this is the marble that gets pushed in.

As the evening falls, the lights turned on, and the summer festival turns into a whole different atomsphere.

Traditional performances start! Apparently, if you catch this candy,it would bring you good luck.
