so I'm going to go interview some students on campus

to ask them what their university life is like

and I've got a friend joining me today

who also did the exchange in Keio a few years ago

So, you did like a one, one-year exchange here

yeah,so I was like for two semesters
是的，我交换了两个学期
I think I just miss you
我刚好错过了你
so you, you were here the semester before I join
你是，你是我前面那个学期来的
For any of you guys who are thinking of going on exchange
嗯，如果你们在考虑要不要交换
I really recommend it
我强烈推荐大家交换
because I think it's just,
因为在我看来
it's a really good opportunity for you to experience new things
这是一个很好的体验新生活的机会
and get out of your comfort zone
走出舒适带的机会
and especially with Japanese universities
尤其是日本的大学
I think it's a bit different to the west
我觉得日本的大学跟西方的大学不太一样
it's very hard to get in
进来很难
but once they get in it it's a lot of freedom
但一旦进来了，就很轻松
a lot of, a lot of fun a lot of doing circles and stuff like that
有很多，很多好玩儿，很多社团什么的
yeah I think a lot of people will be, doing like they'll be really busy with their circle
是呢，很多人都忙着社团活动
they clubs, their part-time jobs
协会活动或者兼职
it's really big culture here for universities, you think that?
这些在这边都是很常见的，你觉得呢？

In my spare time I often went with some friends to the pub next to the university,
课余时间我经常和朋友一起去学校附近的酒吧
like these Japanese pubs called "Izakaya"
比如那种居酒屋
Well, I'm job hunting. (okay)
嗯……因为我在找工作（好吧）
So, I use most of my time wring those entry sheets.
所以我大部分时间都在写材料
my classes are not too crowded, which I enjoy.
我们班人不是很多，这一点我很喜欢
and it's usually a mix of Japanese students and international students like about fifty-fifty
而且一般都有日本学生和留学生，差不过一半一半吧
so I get to meet both, which is nice.
留学生和日本学生我都能见到，这一点我觉得很好
Japanese students are every respectful towards the teachers
日本的学生很尊敬老师
like if they ever come late, they will be really quiet and go in from the back
比如他们要是上课迟到了，就会从后门悄悄地进去
and they don't speak a lot, chat a lot in class.
他们在课堂上也不怎么会说话
and likewise, teachers are very classic,
同样的，老师通常都很传统
I mean they stay near the blackborad.
他们会站在黑板前面
and they just talk and show the presentation.
一边讲课一边放PPT
And In France, there is maybe more interaction.
在法国的话，可能互动更多一点
Since I'm Korean, I'm actually part of the Korean community here.
因为我是韩国人嘛，所以在这儿也算是韩人社区的一员
I was pretty surprised that they actually have a lot of international socializing groups.
让我非常吃惊的是，这里有很多的国际社团
I've been to a few dinners from Plurio
我参加了Plurio的几次晚餐
which is an organization of international students but that's it.
Plurio是一个国际学生组织，我就参加了这么一个社团
I went to two circle so far
我目前去过两个社团
and I've been to the Sakura Circle
还去过樱花社团
But, so far I didn't decide whether I will actually join it
但是，我还没有决定到底要不要加入
I just try to figure it out because it's time consuming
我得好好想想，因为挺花时间的
but really fun
但是也真的很好玩
I knew that since this was a Japanese students school
我很清楚，因为这是一所日本大学，
there might not be such an international atmosphere here
这里的国际氛围可能没有那么浓厚
but actually it was quite different from what I expected
但实际情况与我想象的出入很大
In Mita Campus, there is many foreign students
在三田校区，因为这里有很多留学生
who came to study Japanese and also came to experience Japanese culture.
很多来学日语，或是来体验日本文化的留学生
it's very nice to see them here and socialize with them
能够在这里遇见他们，跟他们相处我觉得很开心
and the last thing I wanted to show you guys was the East Gate building
最后，我想给大家展示一下学校的东门大楼
a very historical building
这是一栋历史建筑
