Forming Simple Past YES or NO Question is really easy.
构成一般过去时“是”或“否”的疑问句真得很简单。
Yes, I know this one! The structure is: Did+Subject+Main Verb.

Did you walk to work again?
你又走着来上班吗？
Did it rain last week?
上周下雨了吗？
And to answer these questions also in YES or NO format, you would either say:
回答这些问题也要用“是”或“否”的形式,你可以说：
"Yes (personal pronoun) did" or "No (personal pronoun) didn't".
“Yes+（人称代名词）+did”或“No+（人称代词）+didn't”。
You can usually form Simple Past YES or NO Question from statements.
你可以用陈述句构成一般过去时“是”或“否”的疑问句。
I have two long statements here.
这里有两个长语句。
First: Susan studied English in high school.
第一句：Susan studied English in high school.（苏珊在高中时学过英语。）
Second: I saw Steven at dinner last night.
第二句：I saw Steven at dinner last night.（我昨晚吃饭时看到了史蒂文。）
How would you form a Simple Past YES or NO Question?

Simple, for the first one, the question would be:
很简单，第一句的问句是：
Did Susan study English in high school?
Did Susan study English in high school?（苏珊在高中学过英语吗？）
and the answer would be "Yes, she did."
回答是"Yes, she did."（是的，她学过。）
And for the second one, "Did you see Steven at dinner last night?"
第二句的问句是："Did you see Steven at dinner last night?"（你昨晚吃饭时看到史蒂文了吗？）
And you would say "Yes, I did."
你回答："Yes, I did."（是的，看到了。）
