Okay, we all know what teeth are.But I didn’t know that my teeth had skin.
我们都知道“牙齿”是什么。但是我还不知道牙齿还有皮肤。

It was funny running into you yesterday.
昨天真是碰巧撞到了你。

Sorry I had to rush off.But I was running late for a movie I wanted to see.

不好意思我昨天跑得比较快。 我赶着去看一场想看的电影, 差点迟到了。
Oh! Did you make it to the movie on time?
奥!那你昨天赶上看电影了么?
I made it by the skin of my teeth.Just as I sat down, the movie started.
我险些没赶上。我一坐下,电影就开始了。
“By the skin of my teeth ” means to narrowly or barely escape something bad.
“By the skin of my teeth ”的意思是勉强逃过不好的事情。
Many English expressions come from the Bible,or Christian Holy Book.
许多英语词组都来自《圣经》也叫《基督教圣书》。
In the Bible,a character escapes an evil test.
在《圣经》中,有一个人逃过了一场很危险的考验。
In one version, it says that he “escaped with the skin of my teeth.”
在某个版本的《圣经》中,说他“死里逃生”。
