Harry and Hermione left the room with the rest of the class,
哈利和赫敏与班上的其他同学一起离开了教室，
who waited until they were well out of earshot, then burst into a furious tirade about Snape.
赫敏等到大家走得都听不见了，才大声怒骂起斯内普来。
'Snape's never been like this with any of our other Defence Against the Dark Arts teachers, even if he did want the job,' Harry said to Hermione.
“斯内普以前从来没有这样对待过教我们的其他黑魔法防御术的老师，就算他的确想来教我们的话，”哈利对赫敏说，
'Why's he got it in for Lupin? D'you think this is all because of the Boggart?'
“他为什么这样对卢平呢？你说都因为那次博格特事件吗？”
'I don't know,' said Hermione pensively. 'But I really hope Professor Lupin gets better soon...'
“不知道，”赫敏忧郁地说，“不过我真希望卢平教授会很快好起来……”
Ron caught up with them five minutes later, in a towering rage.
五分钟以后罗恩赶上了他们，气得不可开交。
'D'you know what that —' (he called Snape something that made Hermione say 'Ron!')
“你们知道那——（他骂了斯内普一句什么，弄得赫敏叫道：“罗恩！”）
'— is making me do? I've got to scrub out the bedpans in the hospital wing. Without magic!'
——叫我做什么吗？叫我去擦医院里的夜壶。还不准用魔法！”
He was breathing deeply, his fists clenched.
他气得直喘，拳头握得紧紧的。
'Why couldn't Black have hidden in Snape's office, eh? He could have finished him off for us!'
“布莱克为什么不能躲在斯内普办公室呢，嗯？他可以替我们结果他呀！”
Harry woke extremely early next morning; so early that it was still dark.
第二天早晨，哈利绝早就醒了。因为太早，外面还漆黑一片。
For a moment he thought the roaring of the wind had woken him,
他起初以为是怒吼的狂风把他叫醒的，
then he felt a cold breeze on the back of his neck and sat bolt upright — Peeves the poltergeist had been floating next to him, blowing hard in his ear.
然后他觉得后脖子那里有一阵冷风，他一下子就坐了起来——捉弄人的皮皮鬼飘浮在他身边，使劲向他耳朵里吹气。
'What did you do that for?' said Harry furiously.
“你干吗这样吹？”哈利恼怒地问道。
Peeves puffed out his cheeks, blew hard and zoomed backwards out of the room, cackling.
皮皮鬼鼓胀了两腮，吹得更加起劲，然后旋转着退出房间，咯咯地笑着。
