With the first flash of lightning came the sound of Madam Hooch's whistle;
霍琦夫人的哨声伴随着第一次闪电吹响了。
Harry could just see the outline of Wood through the thick rain, gesturing him to the ground.
哈利仅仅能在密密的雨帘中看到伍德的轮廓，伍德正向哈利示意，要他下到地面上来。
The whole team splashed down into the mud.
全队泼溅着水降到泥泞之中。
'I called for time out!' Wood roared at his team. 'Come on, under here —'
“我叫了暂停！”伍德对队员们吼道，“来吧，到那下面——”
They huddled at the edge of the pitch under a large umbrella;
他们挤在球场边上一把大雨伞下面。
Harry took off his glasses and wiped them hurriedly on his robes.
哈利摘下眼镜在袍子上匆匆擦了擦。
'What's the score?'
“比分多少？”
'We're fifty points up,' said Wood, 'but unless we get the Snitch soon, we'll be playing into the night.'
“我们领先五十分，”伍德说，“但是，除非我们很快得到那金色飞贼，不然我们就要比到晚上了。”
'I've got no chance with these on,' Harry said exasperatedly, waving his glasses.
“我戴着眼镜简直没办法。”哈利挥动着眼镜懊丧地说。
At that very moment, Hermione appeared at his shoulder; she was holding her cloak over her head and was, inexplicably, beaming.
就在此刻，赫敏在哈利身旁出现了。她是顶着斗篷过来的，而且竟然还笑容满面。
'I've had an idea, Harry! Give me your glasses, quick!'
“我有个主意，哈利！把你的眼镜给我，快！”
He handed them to her and, as the team watched in amazement, Hermione tapped them with her wand and said, 'Impervius!'
他把眼镜递给她，整个球队惊讶地看着，赫敏用她的魔杖轻敲哈利的眼镜，说了声：“防水防湿！”
'There!' she said, handing them back to Harry. 'They'll repel water!'
“好啦！”她说，把眼镜还给哈利，“水不会妨碍你的眼镜了！”
Wood looked as though he could have kissed her.
伍德在一旁看着，似乎恨不得去吻她。
'Brilliant!' he called hoarsely after her, as she disappeared into the crowd.
“太棒了！”他声音嘶哑地在她身后叫道，这时她已经隐没在人群之中了。
'OK, team, let's go for it!'
“好吧，大伙儿，好好干！”
Hermione's spell had done the trick.
赫敏的咒语奏了效。
Harry was still numb with cold, still wetter than he'd ever been in his life, but he could see.
哈利还是冷得手脚麻木，仍旧是平生未有的那么湿，但他看得见了。
Full of fresh determination, he urged his broom through the turbulent air,
他重新下定决心，催促他的扫帚穿过紊乱的气流，
staring in every direction for the Snitch, avoiding a Bludger, ducking beneath Diggory, who was streaking in the opposite direction...
向各个方向寻找金色飞贼，在这个过程中他避开了一个游走球，从迪戈里身下潜行而过，迪戈里那时正在相反的方向飞跑……
