Did you hear the news about Helen? No, what happened?

She was fired for stealing from the company.

What? Helen doesn’t seem like the kind of person who would do that.
什么？海伦不像是会做出这种事的人啊。
Well, she said that her boss had been stealing from the company for years.
好吧，她说她的老板多年来就一直从公司偷东西。
So she thought it was okay.
所以她觉得也可以这么做。
Well, two wrongs do not make a right.
确实，错上加错就是大错。
In multiplication, two negative numbers make a positive.
在乘法运算时，两个负数相乘会得到正数。
But it does not work that way in life.
但生活中并不是这样。
Doing something bad as an answer to another person doing something bad...usually just makes things worse.
因为别人做了坏事而跟着去做坏事……通常只会让情况更严重。
When that happens you can say, “Two wrongs don’t make a right.”
这种情况下你就可以说，“不要错上加错了。”
