It was a wild goose chase. He wants a big place.

So did they find a place? No...in fact, they decided to wait.

A “wild goose chase” is a search for the impossible.
“Wild goose chase”是指寻找不可能的东西。
This expression comes from Shakespeare’s play “Romeo and Juliet”.
这个表达源自莎士比亚的戏剧《罗密欧与朱丽叶》。
Back then, it described a kind of horse race.
当时,这句话描述的是一种赛马形式。
But these days, it just means a hopeless and frustrating search.
