Let's get started with our first question. Morgan O asks Dear Blocko Why do we stutter?

Well there are actually multiple reasons why someone might stutter,

and different situations can up the chances that a person will stutter, like being in a more social setting or high-stress environment.

Stuttering, which is a speech disorder, can generally be broken down into three main types: developmental, neurogenic, and psychogenic.
口吃是一种言语障碍，通常可分为三种主要类型：发展性口吃、神经性口吃和精神性口吃。
The roots of each of these are a little different. Developmental stuttering usually occurs early on in life and happens as your speech and language abilities are developing.

Neurogenic stuttering happens because of signal issues between the brain and nerves or muscles,

while the psychogenic kind is believed to more specifically originate in the part of the brain that handles your thinking and reasoning.

Especially with those last two types, events in your life can possibly cause you to have a stutter.

Strokes and certain brain disorders can cause them, as well as severe emotional trauma.

For developmental stuttering, most children do end up outgrowing any stuttering they might have had, but for people with other types or whose stuttering continues,

treatments like speech therapy or cognitive behavioral therapy can be useful.

When the Earth's moon looks orangy-brown or red, also sometimes referred to as a "Blood Moon", it's because your moon is in a total lunar eclipse.

This happens when the Earth moves in between the sun and the moon, causing the moon to fully be in Earth's shadow.
