The Guardian Adopts Stronger Language for Environmental Issues

The Guardian, a prominent British daily newspaper, is encouraging its reporters to use stronger language to describe environmental issues. The Guardian’s in-house style guide now recommends using “climate crisis” or “climate emergency” over “climate change”. It also recommends using “global heating” instead of “global warming”.
