The Imperial Age, a costume drama starring Feng Shaofeng and Chen Baoguo, premiered April 6th.
由冯绍峰、陈宝国主演的古装剧《山河月明》于4月6日首播。
In the drama, Feng Shaofeng plays Zhudi, who was the fourth son of the founder of the Ming dynasty.
在剧中，冯绍峰饰演明朝开国皇帝的第四子朱棣。
He initially accepted his father's appointment of his eldest brother and then his nephew as crown prince,
起初，朱棣是接受他父亲将自己的长兄和侄子指定为皇位继承人这一安排的，
but then later he wiped out his nephew and ascended the throne.
但后来，他击败了自己的侄子，登上了皇位。
Throughout history, he has been criticized for being a cruel emperor who executed and demoted family members,

and did everything in his power to suppress rebellions.

Not sure if that's how the drama will portray him though.

Ying Er co-stars as Zhudi's empress, the Empress of Ming, and Cheng Yi makes an appearance as a young Zhudi.
而颖儿饰演的是朱棣的皇后，成毅则饰演少年朱棣。
