Ya Ya, the giant panda that spent 20 years in the U.S., returned to her birthplace, the Beijing Zoo, on Monday.
在美国生活了20年的大熊猫“丫丫”，于周一回到了她的出生地，北京动物园。
This came after she completed a month of quarantine in Shanghai, where she was cared for by specialists from the zoo.
此前，她在上海完成了一个月的隔离，在那里，她由动物园的专家负责照顾。
For months, Ya Ya's wellbeing has been closely followed by panda lovers.
几个月来，熊猫爱好者们一直密切关注着“丫丫”的健康状况。
Now that she is safely back home, visitors have gathered at the zoo, hoping to see her amongst other pandas.

The Beijing Zoo says that Ya Ya is in stable health.

In anticipation of her homecoming, the zoo has not only prepared a special feeding area but also developed a tailored medical and nutritional program for her.

For 22-year-old Ya Ya, however, giving her time to adjust to her new home is the number one priority, so she won't be on display at the moment.
