According to the Wall Street Journal, people close to Musk fear that his alleged use of drugs could be related to what has been called "unhinged" behavior.

The Journal cited unnamed sources that say Musk has used cocaine, LSD, ecstasy and psychedelic mushrooms at private parties for years.

Sources told the Journal they witnessed Musk's alleged drug use at parties where they signed non-disclosure agreements.

Musk, however, denied the allegations, attacking the Journal's reporting, and saying on his social media platform X.
