On Feb 10, YOLO (You Only Live Once) hit theaters in China. It is directed by Jia Ling.
2月10日，由贾玲导演的电影《热辣滚烫》在中国上映。
She also stars in it with Lei Jiayin and Zhang Xiaofei among others, while Yang Zi puts in a guest appearance.
她还与雷佳音、张小斐等人一同出演了这部电影，而杨紫则客串出演。
Jia Ling said she lost 110 pounds for the movie.
贾玲表示，自己为了这部电影瘦了110磅。
The 41-year-actress recently did an interview with the program, Seize the Day.

Jia Ling was asked how she managed to keep her new look a secret, considering these days everyone has a cell phone, and could capture her image anywhere.

"Well," Jia Ling replied. "Prior to announcing (my weight loss), this was not something anyone could believe.

I mean I would just go out less or not go out at all. I did go to Sanya and walked around the streets, I went to the shopping centers and such, and no one recognized me."

When asked about whether she considered just using computer technology to get the look she wanted, as oppose to getting into shape the way she did,

Jia Ling said, "If you're an audience member, and you see a digitally-altered Jia Ling, would you be moved by this story?

As well, according to [a] Feb 9 Variety article, Sony Pictures has acquired global distribution rights to YOLO.

Sony hasn't yet, however, disclosed its North American or international release strategies for the movie.
