New rules on courier deliveries went into effect earlier this month.

Courier companies are now prohibited from confirming the receipt of parcels on behalf of users without their consent.

"When the courier arrives at your neighborhood, he will call you in advance and ask whether you prefer delivery to a parcel locker or directly to your doorstep.

Experts say courier companies and ecommerce platforms need to work together to implement the new regulations.

"We suggest that major e-commerce platforms provide options on the ordering interface, distinguishing between door-to-door delivery and delivery to smart lockers or courier service stations.
