[00:30.00]And what object or consideration more pleasing than this can be presented to the human mind?

[00:31.00]If national pride is ever justifiable or excusable it is when it springs,not from power or riches,

[00:32.00]grandeur or glory,but from conviction of national innocence,information,and benevolence.
[00:32.50]那么，这种自豪感必定不是来自权势和财富，不是来自豪华和荣耀，而是来自坚信民族的纯真、见识和仁爱。
