Egyptian protests continue despite military concessions
Thousands of Egyptians are continuing to occupy Cairo's Tahrir Square despite an offer from the military for a speedier handover to civilian rule.
Earlier, Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi, told the nation in a televised address that presidential elections will happen by July next year.
Tantawi also says the resignation of the country's cabinet has been accepted.
Many protesters say the concession was not enough and have demanded the field marshal step down.
"We will not leave, we are here until we see changes, but now nothing has changed, we will not be fooled. The previous president attempted to deceive the people but he failed and finally responded to our demands."
