Damascus receives first European aid

A warplane from the Czech Republic carrying medical aid and equipment arrived in Damascus on Sunday. It was a gift from the Czech Red Cross to the Syrian Red Crescent.
捷克共和国一架运送医疗救助物资和设备的军用飞机周日抵达大马士革。这批物资由捷克红十字会捐赠给叙利亚红新月会。
It was the first European plane to deliver aid to Syria's government-held region since the start of the civil war. The Syrian Red Crescent says the aid will go to cities in need.
