According to Seoul's Unification Ministry the proposed South Korean delegation will be led by unification Minister Cho Myung Hyun and will include two deputy ministers each from the unification ministry and the Ministry of Culture Sports and Tourism. Cho Myung Hyun is a veteran negotiator with extensive experience in inter-Korean dialogue.
However, the hotline operation was closed without receiving the DPRK's list of its delegates.Hotline communications are expected to resume on Sunday. Next week's rare dialogue will look at the DPRK's participation at the Winter Olympics in South Korea next month.
