President Donald Trump says his visit to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland is already successful. The President met Thursday with leaders of Britain and Israel, held a reception with CEOs and other global executives, and is due to give a keynote speech to the forum on Friday.
Bipartisan work on immigration is underway on Capitol Hill with senators from both parties meeting behind closed doors. This comes as the White House announced it would unveil a legislative framework on immigration next week.
The 15-year-old accused in a school shooting in Kentucky that left 2 dead and 18 others injured has been ordered to remain in custody. The juvenile court judge found probable cause to detain him on preliminary charges of murder and assault.
And a Freehold, New Jersey couple tied the knot in quite an unusual place in the Courthouse earlier this month. Brian and Maria Schulz had to move their wedding from the judge's chambers to the bathroom after the groom's mom got sick. If they postpone the wedding, they would have to wait 45 days for a new marriage license. The groom's mother is said to be fine.
