Bill Cosby will spend between three and ten years in prison for drugging and sexual assaulting a woman. The 81 year old has become the first celebrity of the 'Metoo' era to be sent to jail. The judge has declared Cosby a sexually violent predator. Supporters of his victim Andrea Constand are celebrating after hearing the verdict, but Cosby's legal team says they will appeal.
US president Donald Trump has prompted laughter while touting his administration's accomplishments before the United Nations General Assembly. In his 40 minute address, Mr Trump touched on North Korea, Iran's threat in the Middle East, and world trade. But he uncomfortably paused when some of his opening remarks drew laughs from the chamber.

And a Melbourne driver has had a lucky escape after being hit by a car travelling the wrong way on one of the city's major freeways overnight. It's believed a white BMW was driving on the wrong side of the Tullamarine freeway when it collided with a black SUV. Both drivers have been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
