We are urging the US judicial departments pay close attention to this case and to trial this case justly according to law. We're also coordinating with the University and local Chinese organizations to assist Jon's family during the proceedings of the case.
Following the tragedy, Chinese issued its citizens with travel advisories with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism warning of certain threats in the US such as robbery gun violence and theft. It has urged Chinese citizens there to be more vigilant when it comes to safety. China's education ministries also offered similar advice to students
