The International Monetary Fund's Managing Director says over 20 additional countries have now asked about receiving the aid as the coronavirus pandemic halts economic activity. Kristalina Georgieva now called for stronger coordinated fiscal stimulus to limit the damage. Blog post on IMF website. Georgieva also said the fund will be ready to mobilize it's through 1 trillion US dollar lending capacity to help the member countries deal with the crisis.
