Now Hong Kong SAR chief executive Carrie Lam has spoken to the media this morning on the anniversary of the protests that began one year ago, and that have caused months of unrest. Everybody has to learn a lesson. Hong Kong cannot stand by such chaos.
The people of Hong Kong want a peaceful and stable environment in light of the global economic recession due to the pandemic more than ever we need a stable environments, in order to restore people's normal lives.
Although the city has been hit harsh by the pandemic, Lam says Hong Kong is still an economic hub and the SAR government will roll out various measures to create jobs. And the government also plans to allocate money to residents over the age of 18.Each person will receive 10,000 kong-kong dollars as early as July the 8th that's about 1300 US dollars.
