Russia's President Vladimir Putin has revealed the country's navy will soon be armed with hypersonic nuclear strike weapons.He made the announcement in ST. Petersburg at an annual naval parade.Putin said the new weapon systems would boost combat capabilities and did not specify when Russia would receive them though.Defence experts worry Washington's refusal to extend a critical nuclear arms reduction treaty with Russia may fuel a new arms race in weapons of mass destruction.The treaty is set to expire next year and Putin says he does not want an arms race.
