The Internet company Yahoo has told Microsoft that it will not agree to a buyout till unless the amount of it is raised. In a letter responding to Microsoft's warning that their offer would only be revised divers .Yahoo said Microsoft had undervalued the company. Microsoft has valued Yahoo at 41 billion dollars or at 31 dollars per share.
The European Union has opened the way for travellers to use mobile phones on planes across Europe's airspace. Under new regulations being introduced by the European Commission, airlines will be able to launch on-board mobile services later this year. WJ reports from Brussels.
Mobile phones have conquered the last frontier. From now on, passengers' phones will be linked to a on-board cellular network which the crew will be able to switch off to ensure safety during take off, landing and turbulences. Planes registered in France or Britain will be able to offer mobile communication when flying over Germany or any other of the EU's 27 countries without having to apply for additional national licenses.
