CRI News Reports:Plane Collision Killed Five in U.K
Two small planes collided in midair and crashed in central England on Sunday, killing five people.
The planes slammed into each other near the city of Coventry, in the county of Warwickshire, about 140 kilometres northwest of London.
The debris from the collision stretched across several miles, but no one on the ground was reported injured.
Warwickshire Police Detective Superintendent Adrian McGee said they were conducting joint investigation with relevant departments.
"We're conducting a joint investigation, with Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service, with Air Accident Investigation Board and Warwickshire Police to identify hose and recover the bodies from that scene as quickly as we can, and conduct a thorough investigation as to what happened here this morning."
McGee said it was too early to say if the planes had communicated with the control tower, in the minutes immediately preceding the collision.
