Most people think that a friend in need is a friend indeed.
大部分的人认为患难见真情。
A good friend is someone who is always there to lend a helping hand.
好朋友是随时随地准备伸出援手的人。
He will never let you down or betray you.
他永远不会让你失望或背叛你。
In times of trouble you can always count on him.
在有困难时你可以随时依赖他。
As far as I am concerned, a true friend is simply a person who cares.
就我个人而言，真正的朋友就是会关心你的人。
He is a person who will patiently listen to my problems or lend me a shoulder to cry on.

I hate to think of friends as only people who can be helpful.
