Setting Up for the Picnic
做好野餐准备
At the pond's edge, Kathy and Evan set up for their picnic.
凯西和艾凡在池塘边做好野餐准备。
E:Well, I've unloaded the trunk. Everything we need is here, I think.
艾凡:嗯，我已经把后车箱的东西卸下来了。我想我们所需要的东西都在这里了。
K:Let's see. The beach towel is spread out under the tree, the sandwiches and drinks are here...Whoa! What are you going to drink?
凯西:我看看。海滩浴巾已经摊放在树下、三明治和饮料在这儿…等等！你要喝什么饮料？
E:I have a bottle of Dutch beer. Why?
艾凡:我喝一瓶荷兰啤酒。为什么问这个？
K:I don't mind your drinking and then driving after lunch and a nap, but the problem is, how are you going to drink it?
凯西:我不介意你喝酒和吃完午餐打个盹后开车，但问题是你要怎么喝？
E:That doesn't sound too hard. What do you mean?
艾凡:听起来没什么难的啊。你指的是什么？
K:I mean how are you going to open the bottle, stupid?
凯西:笨蛋，我的意思是你要怎么打开瓶盖？
I can open my cans of soda with the pop tops, but this beer doesn't have a pop top.
我可以利用汽水罐上的拉环打开汽水，但是这瓶啤酒并没有拉环。
E:It doesn't need to.
艾凡:它不需要拉环。
K:What do you mean?
凯西:你是什么意思呢？
E:I mean I'm a boy scout.
艾凡:我的意思是我是一名男童军。
K:Yeah? So?
凯西:是吗？那又怎样呢？
E:Always be prepared.That's the boy scouts' motto.
艾凡:随时有备是男童军的格言。
K:I know. I was a girl scout. Just how are you prepared?
凯西:我知道。我曾经是女童军。你究竟是怎么有准备的？
E:I always carry my Swiss army knife with me; that's how. It has a bottle opener on it!
艾凡:我总是随身携带我的瑞士军刀，这就是我的准备。刀上面有个开瓶器！
