Mary: Did you finish your paper last night?
玛丽：你昨晚写完论文了吗？
Danny: Yes, but I only had a glance at the assigned reading. It was 3 o'clock when I finished. I was exhausted so I went to bed.
丹妮：写完了，但是需要阅读的材料我只看了一眼。我写完的时候已经3点了。我太累了就上床睡觉了。
Mary: Don't you think you spent too much time on extracurricular activities?
玛丽：你不觉得你花在课外活动上的时间太多了吗？
Danny: I know I shouldn't have gone to the bar the day before, but I was bored.
丹妮：我知道我前天不应该去酒吧，但是我很无聊。
Mary: And your internship.
玛丽：而且还有你的实习。
Danny: I can't help it. I have to start preparing now, otherwise I don't think I'll be able to find a good job. With the high unemployment rate, there are tens vying for one vacancy.
丹妮：我也没办法。我必须现在就开始准备，不然我觉得我会找不到好工作的，失业率如此之高，一个职位就有几十个人在竞争。
Mary: Well, there are pros and cons working part time in college.
玛丽：好吧，但是在大学里兼职有好处也有坏处。
Danny: Don't worry. I'll cope. Anyway, I don't attach so much importance to academic work as you.
丹妮：放心吧，我能应付。不管怎么说，我不像你那样重视学术成绩。
Mary: All right.
玛丽：好吧。
