很多时候两者可以替换：
Wherever you go, I'll follow you.
No matter where you go, I'll follow you.
Wherever he went, he took his dog with him.
No matter where he went, he took his dog with him.
no matter where用法不及wherever广泛：no matter where只能引导让步状语从句；wherever既可以引导名词性从句又可以引导让步状语从句。
√ I'll go no matter where you go.
✗ I'll go no matter where you want.
√ I'll go wherever you want.
2. 词链儿：run into XX 撞上XX/偶遇XX
词链儿：run into someone 偶遇XX =bump into
I ran into my boss at the supermarket. 我在超市偶遇了我老板。
Guess who I ran into in town today! 猜我今天进城时碰到谁了？
run into something 遇到某事
run into trouble/problems/difficulties 遭遇困难
