我已经托福三战过了，对考试各方面都很熟悉，所以大家到考前了有什么疑惑也可以发邮件给我，我会尽力为大家解答。

43. Why do you think some people are attracted todangerous sports or other dangerous activities? Use specific reasons andexamples to support your answer.

Topic 43 Dangerous sport

Have you experienced the fear of bungee jumping? Have youever enjoyed the excitement of car racing? Nowadays, more and more people areattracted to such dangerous activities, especially the young people. Wonderingwhy? After thinking about the lifestyle of those people, the reason goes asfollows.

While the world is becoming more and more competitive, thetasks on each person's shoulders become heavier and heavier. People's everydayactivities are very intense. The best way to relax and get relieved is to go infor dangerous activities, because while you are doing something dangerous, youhave to concentrate on it, and you cannot think about anything else. Hence yourelieved all the unhappiness and the troubles you had in the daily work.

In addition, to take risks and try out new things is oneof human being's basic instincts. People always like to do something new,especially when something is popular as well. According to some statistics, thedangerous activities are becoming extremely popular among young people. If youdo not try some dangerous activities, people will think that you are a cowardand you are afraid of doing it. So it is reasonable enough for them to dodangerous sports to show their braveness.

However, I do not like dangerous activities and I believethe phenomenon that people are attracted to dangerous activities is just a whim.After realizing countless disadvantages of them, people will reconsider aboutthem. Some safer activities to help people to get relieved will be developedafterwards.
