Neighbourhood Dogs
附近的小狗
Buddy and Teak were two dogs that lived in the same neighbourhood.
巴迪和迪克是住在同一个地区的两只狗。
They loved each other and met every day to play together.
他们很爱对方,每天一起玩耍。
One evening, Buddy didn't come back home.
一晚,巴迪没有回家。
Buddy's family went to look for him but didn't find him.
巴迪的家人去找他,但是没有找到。
To their surprise, Teak came to Buddy's house alone and barked.
令他们吃惊的是,迪克独自来到了巴迪家并吠个不停。
Buddy's family didn't know why.
巴迪的家人不知道这是为什么。
Teak kept barking loudly.
迪克不停的大叫。
He came to Buddy's house ever day and barded at anyone he could see.
他每天都去巴迪家,并且对他见到的任何东西都叫。
Finally, one morning, Teak followed Ted about, barking loudly,
最后,一天早晨,迪克跟着泰德,大叫,
and running towards the nearby woods, as if to say, "Follow me!"

The little dog led Ted to the woods.
这条小狗带这泰德来到了森林里。
There the boy found Buddy stuck in something.

Around him was some dog food which Ted knew was the food Teak ate at home.

Ted suddenly knew that Teak took some of his own food to his friend!

Buddy was freed, and his leg was treated.

For many years, the two families watched the good friends playing happily.

They were the best friends in the neighbourhood.
