Todd: Lois, when are you going back to London, or England?
托德：洛伊丝，你打算什么时候回英国伦敦？
Lois: I'm going back on the 30th of July.
洛伊丝：我7月30日回去。
Todd: OK, that's coming up pretty soon.
托德：好，那马上就要到了。
Lois: Just four more weeks. Four weeks from today, I'll be on the plane, on my way home.
洛伊丝：还有四周的时间。从今天开始算，还有四周的时间，我打算坐飞机回家。
Todd: OK, when you go home, what are you going to do?
托德：嗯，你回家以后，打算做什么呢？
Lois: In September I'm going back to college because I want to be a primary school teacher in England, so I have to do a one year course to qualify and then hopefully I'll start teaching the next September back in England.
洛伊丝：我九月要回大学上课，因为我想在英国当小学老师，所以我必须要念一年的课程，获得教师资格，之后我希望可以在明年九月在英国开始教师生涯。
Todd: OK, and what are you going to teach?
托德：好的，你打算教什么课程？
Lois: So, I'm teaching primary so that's all subjects. I'm teaching science and English and math and maybe some French and sports and music and any other subjects they do at eight years old.
洛伊丝：因为我是教小学，所以应该会教授所有的课程。我会教科学、英语、数学，可能还会教一些法语还有体育、音乐和其他八岁孩子需要学习的课程。
Todd: So, how old will the students be?
托德：那学生都几岁呢？
Lois: So I will be trained to teach from 5 to 11, and hopefully I will teach 7 or 8 year olds.
洛伊丝：我接受的培训是教5岁至11岁的孩子，希望我能教7、8岁的孩子。
Todd: Mm, you like kids?
托德：嗯，你喜欢孩子？
Lois: I hope so. Yeah, when I worked in Prague I taught some children's classes and I really, really enjoyed them, so hopefully I will like it in England as well. Although it will be a bit different because I'll have maybe twenty five or thirty students in a class so it might be slightly different to the twelve when I was in Prague.
洛伊丝：是的。我在布拉格工作时教了一些儿童课程，我非常喜欢，所以我希望我也喜欢在英国教儿童课程。不过这会有些难度，因为一个班里可能会有25到30个学生，而我在布拉格时教的班级只有12名学生，所以情况可能会有些不同。
Todd: That's a lot. What made you decide to become a teacher?
托德：人数很多啊。你为什么决定当老师呢？
Lois: I'm not really sure because my mother was a teacher and she's trying really hard to convince me that I shouldn't do it because she thinks its too much work but I enjoy talking to people and being around children and teaching so hopefully it will be nice for me.
洛伊丝：我不太确定，我妈妈是老师，她一直试图说服我，她认为我不应该当老师，因为她认为老师的工作量太大了，不过我喜欢和人们谈话，喜欢和孩子们在一起，也喜欢教学，所以我希望我能做得很好。
