考点一并列连词
常见并列连词(2013年20题考查)
and“和”，表并列或顺承关系。如：John, work hard and you will make much progress. 约翰,努力学习，你就会取得很大的进步。
but“但是”，表转折关系。如：I would love to, but I am afraid I have no time.我很想去，但是恐怕我没有时间。
or“或者，否则”，表选择关系。如：Hurry up, or you will miss the plane.快点，否则你就赶不上飞机了。
for/so“因为/所以”，表因果关系。如：The dress was very expensive, so I didnot buy it. 那件裙子太贵了，所以我没有买。
常见并列连词短语
neither...nor两者都不……。如：Neither he nor his children like fish.他和他的孩子们都不喜欢鱼。
either...or或者……或者。如：Either you or he is wrong.不是你错了，就是他错了。
not only...but also不但……而且。如：Not only you but also he wants to buythe book. 不但你而且他也想买那本书。
both...and两者都……。如：Both she and I are good at English.她和我都擅长英语。
注意：①neither...nor, either...or, not only...but
also连接两个并列成分作主语时，谓语动词要和最近的主语保持一致，即就近原则；both...and连接两个并列成分作主语时，谓语动词只能用复数。②连接两个句子时，neither, not only 后面的句子要用倒装句。如：Not only did he speak morecorrectly, but he spoke more easily.
