网上约会很流行
I think that the popularity of online dating has grown really for two reasons.
我认为网上约会越来越流行主要是由于两个原因。
One is just the passage of time. It's been out there, people has a chance to adapt to it and to learn how to use it in the way that works for them. So first reason. The second reason really is that it does provide an efficient way to triage potential mates, and a way that is easier than doing it face to face.
其中一点就是时间的过去。人们有机会逐渐适应，了解如何以适合自己的方式来应用。这是第一个原因。第二个原因是，网上约会确实提供了寻找未来配偶的有效方法，比面对面进行更加容易。
It may not be as powerful but it is definitely more efficient. So to say that it is not going to be there, it's going to go away, it's going to fall through the cracks, I don't think that's possible because we're using the online dating as, in a way, that fits us best. And so what I think you're going to continue to see is the continuous adoption but aslo evolution in the way people use it, the refinement in how they're using it because those people who use it effectively will continue to use it again and those people who feel that it is not effective, they're not going to use it in the way that adapts for them, they are not going to use that again. So I don't see it going away, I see it becoming more refined.
网上约会或许不是那么强大，但绝对高效得多。所以，有人说网上约会会逐渐消失，我认为这是不可能的，因为我们按照最适合自己的方式来使用网上约会。所以，我认为我们会见证人们越来越适应网上约会，而且使用网上约会的方法会进一步进化，进一步精简。因为已经在使用的人以后会继续使用，而那些认为不那么有效的人，他们不会以适合自己的方式进行应用的人，他们不会再使用。所以我认为，网上约会不会消失，反而会进一步精简。
