"Potter, come back here!" Quirrell shouted.
“波特，到这儿来！”奇洛喊道。
"Tell me the truth! What did you just see?"
“把实话告诉我！你刚才看见了什么？”
The high voice spoke again.
那个尖厉的嗓音又说话了。
"Let me speak to him... face-to-face..."
“让我来跟他谈……面对面地谈……”
"Master, you are not strong enough!"
“主人，你的体力还没有恢复啊！”
"I have strength enough... for this...."
“这点力气……我还是有的……”
Harry felt as if Devil's Snare was rooting him to the spot.
哈利觉得自己仿佛被魔鬼网牢牢缠住了。
He couldn't move a muscle.
浑身上下丝毫也动弹不得。
Petrified, he watched as Quirrell reached up and began to unwrap his turban.
他呆呆地站在那里，看着奇洛举起手解下他头上的围巾。
What was going on?

The turban fell away. Quirrell's head looked strangely small without it.
大围巾落了下来，奇洛裸露的脑袋看上去小得出奇。
Then he turned slowly on the spot.
然后，他慢慢地原地转过身去。
Harry would have screamed, but he couldn't make a sound.
哈利想放声尖叫，但发不出一点儿声音。
Where there should have been a back to Quirrell's head,
在原本该是奇洛后脑勺的地方，
there was a face, the most terrible face Harry had ever seen.
长着一张脸，哈利还从来没有看见过这样狰狞恐怖的脸。
It was chalk white with glaring red eyes and slits for nostrils, like a snake.
那张脸的颜色像粉笔一样死白，红通通的眼睛放出光来，下面是两道像蛇一般细长的鼻孔。
"Harry Potter..." it whispered.
“哈利波特……”他耳语般地说。
Harry tried to take a step backward but his legs wouldn't move.
哈利想往后退，可是他的双腿不听使唤。
