Oy, you! 'Arry Potter! shouted a particularly grim-looking dwarf, elbowing people out of the way to get to Harry.
喂，你！哈利波特！”一位脸色特别阴沉的矮子喊道，用胳膊肘分开众人，朝哈利挤来。
Hot all over at the thought of being given a valentine in front of a queue of first years, which happened to include Ginny Weasley, Harry tried to escape. The dwarf, however, cut his way through the crowd by kicking people's shins, and reached him before he'd gone two paces.
当着一队一年级新生的面——尤其是金妮·韦斯莱碰巧也在里面，收到一张情人节贺卡，这简直太令人恼火了，哈利想逃跑。可是没等他跑出两步，矮子就一路踢着人们的小腿，挤开人群追上了他。
I've got a musical message to deliver to 'Arry Potter in person, he said, twanging his harp in a threatening sort of way.
“我有一个配乐的口信要亲自传达给哈利波特。”矮子说着，用咄咄逼人的架势拨响了竖琴。
Not here, Harry hissed, trying to escape.
“别在这儿。”哈利压低声音说，一边又想逃跑。
Stay still! grunted the dwarf, grabbing hold of Harry's bag and pulling him back.
“站住别动！”矮子咕哝了一声，一把抓住哈利的书包，把他拉了回来。
Let me go! Harry snarled, tugging. With a loud ripping noise, his bag split in two. His books, wand, parchment, and quill spilled onto the floor and his ink bottle smashed over the lot.
“让我走！”哈利吼道，用力拽着书包。随着一声很响的撕裂声，他的书包被扯成了两半。他的书、魔杖、羊皮纸和羽毛笔稀里哗啦地落到地板上，墨水瓶摔碎在最上面。
Harry scrambled around, trying to pick it all up before the dwarf started singing, causing something of a holdup in the corridor.
哈利趴在地上手忙脚乱，想赶在矮子开始唱歌之前把东西都捡起来，结果造成了走廊里的交通堵塞。
What's going on here? came the cold, drawling voice of Draco Malfoy. Harry started stuffing everything feverishly into his ripped bag, desperate to get away before Malfoy could hear his musical valentine.
“这是怎么回事儿？”传来了德拉科马尔福那冷冷的、拖腔拖调的声音。哈利开始狂乱地把东西都往被撕裂的书包里塞，不顾一切地想赶紧逃走，不让马尔福听见他的情人节配乐贺礼。
What's all this commotion? said another familiar voice as Percy Weasley arrived.
“怎么这么乱？”又传来一个熟悉的声音，珀西韦斯莱来了。
Losing his head, Harry tried to make a run for it, but the dwarf seized him around the knees and brought him crashing to the floor.
哈利完全慌了神，只想赶紧逃脱，可是矮子一把抱住他的两个膝盖，使他重重地摔倒在地。
