laugh all the way to the bank 字面翻译是“一路笑到银行”，但是，它有两个意思：

1、一个人一开始被别人看不起，可是后来这个人发了财，飞黄腾达，十分得意。
比如，My brothers laughed at me for investing in a movie called The Matrix. They said I would lose all my money. Well, The Matrix turned out to be a huge success! Now I'm the one who's laughing all the way to the bank.
