12月13日，北京市第183场新冠肺炎疫情防控工作新闻发布会召开。北京市疾控中心副主任庞星火表示，当前，境外疫情持续蔓延，国内多地出现冷链从业人员确诊病例。为科学指导本市冷链食品生产、装卸、运输、储存和经营等环节相关从业人员做好个人防护，最大限度防范新冠病毒感染，市疾控中心制定了相关防护指引，希望相关从业人员做好防护。

据中国新闻网报道，北京市发布针对冷链食品从业人员的新冠肺炎防控指南，以最大限度地遏制病毒的传播。

在周日召开的新闻发布会（news conference）上，北京市疾控中心副主任庞星火介绍了最新的冷链从业人员（cold-chain employees）指南。她表示，冷链人业人员应增强个人防护意识（enhance their protection awareness），掌握相关防护技能（possess relevant protection skills），做好自我健康监测（practice self-health monitoring），并随时关注共同工作、居住人员健康状况（health status），坚持每日检测体温，一旦出现发热、咳嗽等异常症状（abnormal symptoms）时要及时报告，并立即就近到发热门诊（fever clinics）进行排查，尽量不乘坐公共交通工具（avoid using public transport）前往。
工作期间要正确佩戴口罩和一次性手套（disposable gloves），着工作服（work clothes）上岗，保持工作服干净整洁（keep their clothes clean），必要时进行消毒（disinfect）；生鲜宰杀、分割车间等特殊岗位从业人员（employees working at special units）除着工作服外，按要求穿戴防水围裙（waterproof aprons）、橡胶手套（rubber gloves）、胶靴等。
装卸人员（stevedore）除遵循戴口罩等个人一般卫生要求外，搬运货物前要穿戴工作衣帽和手套，必要时佩戴护目镜（goggles）和面屏（face screens），避免货物表面频繁接触体表（avoid frequent contact with the surface of the goods）；搬卸来自疫情地区的进口冷链食品（cold-chain food imported from virus-affected areas）时，要全程规范戴好口罩（wear masks at all times），避免货物贴近面部（avoid the goods getting close to face）及用手触摸口鼻（touching mouth and nose with hands），防止接触到可能被病毒污染的冷冻水产品（prevent exposure to frozen aquatic products that may be contaminated by the virus）等；搬卸过程中如口罩、手套破损等要立即更换。
运输车辆司机（drivers of transport vehicles）在转运过程中不得擅自打开冷链食品包装（open cold-chain food packaging）或直接接触冷链食品（contact cold-chain food directly）；车辆进出大门时，避免与门卫等人员不必要的接触（avoid unnecessary contact with security guards and other personnel）。
清洁生产（clean production）、加工（processing）、储存和运输（storage and transportation）等环境时，不使用高压高速水流（high-pressure water）进行喷淋冲洗，防止引起喷溅污染（cause pollution when spraying）。
国际货运（international cargo）安检人员应穿戴工作衣帽（wear work clothes and hats），使用一次性医用口罩或外科口罩（disposable medical or surgical masks）、手套，必要时佩戴护目镜和面屏。加强手卫生，每次更换手套或摘下手套时必须洗手消毒（wash and disinfect hands），避免防护用品二次污染（secondary pollution）。工作后，在指定区域内（designated area）脱去工作服、鞋帽和口罩等防护用品（protective equipment）后方可离开作业场所，脱下的防护用品按规定妥善收集，集中消毒处理。
此外，冷链食品从业人员还要在家里做好防护工作。外出回家后应脱去口罩、外衣、鞋帽（take off masks, coats, shoes and hats）等放置在特定区域，并规范进行洗手，未洗手前不要用手接触口、眼、鼻，口鼻分泌物或吐痰时用纸巾包住（wrap the nasal and mouth discharge with tissues），弃置于有盖垃圾箱内（dispose them in trash bins with lids）。保持家庭环境卫生（keep indoor areas clean），采取湿式清洁，必要时进行预防性消毒（prevention disinfection）。
