Australia has become the latest country to issue 10-year multiple entry visas for Chinese nationals. Foreign Minister Julie Bishop said a few pilot programs are being carried out, and it's hoped the new visa policy will soon be extended to all eligible Chinese travellers. Australia hopes the change will boost the country's tourism industry.

It is expected that China will take over from New Zealand as the country's largest source of tourists in the next four years.

"Many countries have relaxed their visa policies for Chinese travellers. For example, some countries like South Korea, Australia, the U.S., and Singapore extended the visas from five years to ten years," Tourism industry expert Zhang Chuanbo said.
旅游产业专家张传博表示：“许多国家已经放宽了对中国游客签证政策。比如韩国，澳大利亚，美国和新加坡等一些国家将五年的签证延长到了十年。”
South Korea began issuing ITS 10-year multiple entry visas to Chinese tourists in January. Seoul is hoping the new policy will attract more Chinese tourists to the country and that they will spend more.
韩国已经于今年1月开始向中国游客发行10年期多次入境签证。首尔方面希望新的签证政策能够吸引到更多中国游客，这些游客也会更多地消费。
