未来15年中国高收入消费者将井喷

China's pool of high-earning consumers is set to surge in the next 15 years, a report showed.

一份报告显示,未来15年,我国高收入消费者数量将激增。
The number of people with a disposable income of at least $10,000 per year is expected to grow to around 480 million by 2030, from around 132 million today, according to a report by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), a think tank associated with the Economist.
《经济学人》旗下智库经济学人信息部的报告称,到2030年,预计我国年可支配收入超过1万美元的人群数量将从现在的1.32亿增至4.8亿。
The proportion of the population with upper-middle and high incomes will expand from 10 percent to 35 percent by 2030 when China will look and feel like a more middle-class society, although inequalities in wealth will remain an important social challenge, the report pointed out.
该报告指出,到2030年,中高层收入人口的比例将从现在的10%上升到35%,那时尽管贫富差距仍将是一个重要的社会挑战,但中国将更接近于一个中产阶级社会。

"We expect that the purchasing power of individual Chinese consumers in 2030 will be roughly akin to that of South Korea today or the US in 2000," said Wang Dan, EIU China analyst.

经济学人信息部中国区分析师王丹表示:"我们预测,2030年中国个人消费者的购买力将大致达到韩国现在的水平或美国2000年时的水平"。
Over the next 15 years, the number of high-income consumers in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen and Guangzhou will double, with Shanghai crossing the 10 million mark, according to the report.
报告称,未来15年,上海、北京、深圳和广州的高收入消费者人数将会翻一番,上海的高收入消费者数量将迈过1000万大关。
Inland cities are also poised to show strong growth in high-income residents, with Changsha, Chengdu, Chongqing and Wuhan each looking to have over 2 million high-income consumers by 2030.
内陆城市的高收入人群数量也将有强劲的增长表现,2030年时,长沙、成都、重庆和武汉的高收入消费者人数均有望突破200万。
However, small cities and those undergoing industrial restructuring risk being left behind, the report noted.

With rising income, Chinese consumers will look to upgrade consumption habits and switch to more expensive and premium brands when buying items such as cars and mobile devices, as well as driving higher spending on service sectors such as leisure and tourism, health, education and finance.
随着收入的增长,人们的消费习惯也将升级,在购买一些商品,比如汽车和通讯设备时,会转向价格更高的高端品牌,同时在休闲、旅游、健康教育及金融等服务行业会出现强劲消费。
