Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and Twitter, has broken the world record for the largest loss of personal fortune in history, according to a Guinness World Records report.
吉尼斯官网认证，特斯拉和推特的老板马斯克因为有史以来损失了最多的个人财富，正式打破了世界纪录。
Musk's net worth dropped from a peak of $320 billion in 2021 to $138 billion as of January 2023, a total loss of approximately $182 billion, the report said, citing figures obtained from Forbes.
该网援引福布斯的数据称，截至2023年1月，马斯克的净资产已从2021年3200亿美元的峰值下降到1380亿美元，损失约1820亿美元（约合1.22万亿人民币）。
Musk's misfortunes also saw him lose his status as the world’s richest person to Bernard Arnault (France), founder of luxury goods conglomerate LVMH (Louis Vuitton Mo?t Hennessy), who has an estimated net worth of $190 billion.
这次财富缩水也让他从全球首富的宝座上跌落，将交椅让给了净资产约1900亿美元的奢侈品集团LVMH创始人伯纳德?阿尔诺。
Musk’s shrinking fortune was largely due to the steep slide of Tesla shares, to which the majority of his fortune is tied up, the Guinness World Records report said.
吉尼斯官网报道，马斯克的大部分财富都与特斯拉股票挂钩，特斯拉表现不佳很大程度上导致了这次财产缩水。
Investors in Tesla have voiced concerns that he is spending so much time trying to right the ship at Twitter so Tesla is suffering.
特斯拉的投资者担心，正是马斯克花了太多时间挽回推特的颓势，才致使特斯拉遭殃。
