《Begin Again》讲述的是泰勒在见证爱情的一次次破灭后留下阴影，在与歌曲中的"You"在咖啡馆第一次约会而重燃爱火。这是Taylor首次在发行专辑前就开始打二单。跟第一首《We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together》的曲风不同，这首《Begin Again》又回归泰勒最擅长的抒情风格。Begin Again收录在Taylor于2012年10月22日发行的第四张录音室专辑Red中，这首歌发布于2012年9月25日凌晨，2012年10月1日派台，成为Red这张专辑里的第二首正式单曲。传闻这首歌是写给Will Anderson ，Will是乐队Parachute的主唱。
