1. turn out
讲解：这个短语在科林斯词典中的解释之一是“翻出，倒出”。在这里引申为“（舞蹈，瑜伽，运动中肌肉的）外旋”。它的基本意思如下：
If you turn out the contents of a container, you empty it by removing them or letting them fall out.（翻出；倒出）。
例句：Turn out the dough on to a floured surface.
把生面团倒在撒了面粉的案板上。
2. work one’s ass off
讲解：美语里不少口语都跟“butt”(屁屁)有关, 像 “kick ass”，这里的“work one's butt off” 也是，还有一个“freeze one's butt off”(冷得把屁屁冻僵)。在俚语中，work one’s ass off的意思是“很努力地去（做一件事情）”。我们来这个短语在下面的这个对话的使用：
