Meera moved in a wary circle, her net dangling loose in her left hand, the slender three-pronged frog spear poised in her right.
梅拉机警地转着圈，索网在她左手摇摆，右手则泰然自若地握着细长的三叉捕蛙矛。
Summer followed her with his golden eyes, turning, his tail held stiff and tall.
夏天睁大金色的眼珠紧盯着她，不断移动，长尾巴直立起来。
Watching, watching...
他观察着，观察着……
"Yai!" the girl shouted, the spear darting out.
“呀！”女孩一声叫喊，长矛飞刺向前。
The wolf slid to the left and leapt before she could draw back the spear.
狼闪到左边，在她收矛之前扑跳上去。
Meera cast her net, the tangles unfolding in the air before her.
梅拉顺势扔出网子，纠结的索扣挡在身前。
Summer's leap carried him into it.
飞跃的夏天正好被装进了里面。
He dragged it with him as he slammed into her chest and knocked her over backward.
他不肯认输，拖着网子，砰地一下，撞上她的胸膛，把她击倒在地。
Her spear went spinning away.
矛飞出老远，
The damp grass cushioned her fall but the breath went out of her in an "Oof."
幸亏潮湿的草地减轻了落地的撞击，她气喘吁吁地躺在地面。
The wolf crouched atop her.
冰原狼蹲在她身上。
Bran hooted. "You lose."
布兰叫道：“你输了。”
"She wins," her brother Jojen said.
“她赢了，”她弟弟玖健说，
"Summer's snared."
“夏天被抓住了。”
He was right, Bran saw.
他说得没错，布兰仔细地看了看。
Thrashing and growling at the net, trying to rip free, Summer was only ensnaring himself worse.
夏天在网子里扭动，咆哮，想撕开个口子，却只能使自己越捆越紧。
Nor could he bite through. "Let him out."
网子是咬不开的。“放他出来吧。”
Laughing, the Reed girl threw her arms around the tangled wolf and rolled them both.
黎德家的女孩朝他笑笑，伸出双臂抱住这缠成一团的冰原狼，打了个滚。
Summer gave a piteous whine, his legs kicking against the cords that bound them.
夏天发出一声可怜的哀鸣，腿脚不住踢打缚住自己的绳结。
Meera knelt, undid a twist, pulled at a corner, tugged deftly here and there, and suddenly the direwolf was bounding free.
梅拉跪下去，解开一个索扣，扯掉一个角落，灵巧地这里拖拖那里拉拉，突然之间，冰原狼便重获自由。
"Summer, to me." Bran spread his arms.
“夏天，过来，”布兰张开手臂。
"Watch," he said, an instant before the wolf bowled into him.
“看这里。”他说，于是狼飞一般地朝他跑来。
He clung with all his strength as the wolf dragged him bumping through the grass.
他立刻积蓄起全身力量，任狼飞奔过来把他又拖又撞地弄倒在草地上。
They wrestled and rolled and clung to each other, one snarling and yapping, the other laughing.
他们扭打着、翻滚着，难舍难分，一个又吠又闹，另一个只管嘻笑。
In the end it was Bran sprawled on top, the mud-spattered direwolf under him.
最后布兰翻到了上面，沾满泥巴的冰原狼被压在身下。
"Good wolf," he panted.
“乖狼狼，”他喘着气说。
Summer licked him across the ear.
夏天舔了舔他的耳朵。
Meera shook her head.
梅拉不住摇头。
"Does he never grow angry?"
“难道他从不生气？”
"Not with me."
“从不和我生气。”
Bran grabbed the wolf by his ears and Summer snapped at him fiercely, but it was all in play.
布兰捉住狼的耳朵，夏天朝他凶猛地吼叫，但一切都只是玩笑。
"Sometimes he tears my garb but he's never drawn blood."
“有时他会把我衣服扯烂，但从不见血。”
