China will put in place a unified gross domestic product (GDP) calculation system in 2019 that will see the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) take over data collection responsibilities from local authorities.
我国将于2019年实施地区生产总值（GDP）统一核算体系，届时国家统计局将接管地方政府的数据收集职责。
Unified calculation will replace the current system, in which national GDP and regional data are calculated separately by the NBS and regional offices.
